Review: Tap Tap Revenge 3
Tapulous is at it again with their next installment of their ever-so-popular rhythm game series Tap Tap. Tap Tap Revenge 3 is now out bringing a whole new set of songs and features to this never-ending series. All of you at one point in the history of your iPhone ownership have play a Tap Tap game and I must say, you know exactly what to expect. Not much has changed as far as gameplay goes, with the same tap, hold and tilt gameplay elements making their expected return to the game.
With a brand new look, Tap Tap Revenge 3 is going for more of an online experience. This time, you have an avatar that you will create for online use and many different play options. You can play a quick round when you are short on time or hop online to compete against players locally or around the world. As you are playing against others, you can earn special abilities that you can send out to try and confuse opposing players. There is the ability to also purchase track packs with songs from many big name artists.
Overall, the game is still very much the same as their previous releases and one could argue that the effects and graphics may have taken a step backwards. It is still a fun release and for the price it was being offered for at the time of this review, definitely worth grabbing and trying out.
